“ I brought my friend here for the first time who has never experienced windmill. It was also his first trip to Asbury Park. Of course The Windmill is Asbury Park! The staff was amazingly patient as he was amazed by all the thousand choices, but even with that he developed his own first time, hot dog of which they courteously made for him. ”

“ Excellent location! This windmill was great with super nice staff and equally as great food. Their burgers were super juicy and flavorful, and their chili dog was CRAZY GOOD! We also got their loaded fries which were also delicious. Amazing job Windmill! ”

“ We travel to this Windmill because the employees are friendly and efficient and the dining area is spotless. We especially enjoy Juanita's outgoing personality. She is truly an asset to this Windmill and deserves a raise!! “ Back on the 4th of July, I decided to host a backyard party with some friends and family. As the drinks flowed, so did the number of guests—and eventually, the hunger set in. We quickly realized we were under-supplied and unprepared to feed everyone, so I placed a last-minute order through DoorDash with WindMill of Asbury Park to help with damage control. I was initially worried about my order, especially because I was requesting specific items like utensils, sides, and to-go cups. To make sure everything would go smoothly, I called the store directly. That’s when I had the pleasure of speaking with Juanita. Juanita went above and beyond to make sure I not only felt confident about my order but that I was completely satisfied. Everything arrived fresh, fast, and perfectly packed. Her attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference—she truly saved the day, and everyone at the party was thrilled. I promised Juanita two months ago that I would write this review, and I’m here to uphold that promise. She is the kind of person who defines what great customer service looks like, especially at locally owned restaurants. Even though I live closer to another WindMill location, I will now go out of my way to visit the Ocean Grove store because of her hospitality and care. Juanita’s efforts deserve to be recognized—not just by me, but by the entire community. ”

“ The people their today where outstanding. My wife and I got 2 dogs with sauerkraut and mustard and order of onion rings and order of fries. Everything was great. Again the 2 people behind the counter the cook and the cashier were engaging and talked about the truck that I had no idea the windmill had. ”

“ Okay so, truth be told, we visit this eatery every time we are in the area. A beach day isn't complete without a trip to The Windmill. The atmosphere gives old school vibes which adds to its charm. Double burger, fries, fried mushrooms with horseradish sauce and a hot dog on the flame with saurkraut. Bad for you food made great. ”

“ I went in this location on 07/10/25 and had the best experience. This place is “SUPER CLEAN” compared to other locations nearby. Juanita took my order and was very pleasant. After chatting for a bit I learned she was the manager and had been with Windmill a very long time. She is an incredible manager, very nice and helpful and you can tell it’s because of her loving her job she stays on top of this place with her co-workers as if it was her own. I must say I will definitely visit this location over the others because of how clean it is, how she treats the customers and for the great service etc I received. A+++ ”

“ Always a necessary stop when I visit family in the area. Everything is consistently delicious! My favorite meal is: a hotdog on the grill(crispy)with whatever toppings I'm craving Cheese fries Fried mushrooms (with horseradish sauce) ”
